Aubrey Marcus Podcast May 14, 2025 Aubrey Marcus, Vylana Marcus, and Alana Beale

When philosophy, plant medicine, and a podcast drastically shift the spiritual world without warning

Notes from the Spiral: A Field Report on Frequency, Disillusionment, and Returning to Integrity. A response to the Aubrey Marcus Podcast but revealing what is happening from a therapeutic perspective and in the collective as a whole.

There are moments on this path that don’t arrive gently. They arrive like a wave crashing through your reality—undoing what you once believed to be stable, sacred, or even sovereign.

This is one of those moments.

It started with a podcast. It stirred with a philosophy I used to admire. It cracked open with a familiar voice talking about love, truth, and awakening—while something in my body said no. Then OMG no!

This post isn’t about calling anyone out. It’s about calling my own power back in.

Because when the voices we once revered begin to wobble… When the containers we trusted show their fractures… When the embodiment doesn’t match the message…

We’re faced with a choice: Keep pretending. Or walk away—into our own truth.

As women, we must pull together and gather—not to be against anyone, but to rise in integrity, and talk about what is real. To bring it into form by leading through our own walk and path.

✧ The Cult of Charisma

There’s a fine line between resonance and manipulation. Between devotion and distortion. Between sacred masculine leadership—and subtle control cloaked in freedom-speak.

And as women, especially spiritually-attuned women, we’ve often been conditioned to doubt our knowing when it contradicts a man’s “vision.”

But your body always knows. The shiver. The shoulder tension. The gut pull. That’s where truth lives—not in the carefully curated podcast narrative.

✧ Why It Hurts

Because there was brilliance in it. There was beauty. And there was a longing to belong to something that made life feel more magical, more meaningful, more aligned.

But real truth doesn’t ask you to bypass. It doesn’t ask you to abandon your knowing for the sake of the brand. It doesn’t ask you to sacrifice your sovereignty to be “chosen” for the mission.

This is what I’m unhooking from.

✧ The Spiral Back to Self

So I’m not here to cancel. I’m here to clarify.

This moment—this rupture—is showing me what I stand for.

Radical integrity.
Embodied leadership.
No more selling salvation.
No more mystic performance.

I want real.
I want stillness and nuance and awkward pauses.
I want truth in motion—not charisma in a costume.

And I want to walk with others who are done performing enlightenment and ready to get honest about how messy becoming really is.

✧ To the Ones Who Feel It Too

If you’re reading this and nodding through your heartbreak—
If you’ve felt the discomfort but didn’t know if you were “projecting”—
If you’ve been quietly detaching, grieving, questioning—

You’re not alone.
You’re not bitter.
You’re not behind.

You’re waking up.

Not from the world.
But from the illusion of who you needed to be in it.

✧ What We’re Really Being Asked to See

When you share your personal truth in this manner, you shape minds.

This is why this is riling a lot of people up. The topic is broader than poetry and podcasts…

and you can’t outsource your inner compass in the way I saw happening with a mentor or guide.

✧ The Research Behind the Feeling

So I’ve been studying and researching what I truly sensed in the podcast that’s been rippling through the spiritual community.

I was guided to revisit earlier conversations—stories shared by Aubrey Marcus and Vylana on their own and others’ podcasts—about how they met, fell in love, married, separated, and evolved in public view.

Not to judge—but to understand. This is how I operate as a practitioner.

The history is important—of both the individual and the relationship. To feel the pattern. To name what’s being mirrored back to all of us for deeper learning.

✧ A Legacy in the Making

I believe Aubrey Marcus has a big life—and will have a big legacy.

But like all of us, the journey often looks different than the vision we held. There are surprising twists. Beautiful initiations. And challenging turns.

In The Diary of a CEO podcast, Aubrey shares the pressure he felt to measure up.

His mother was a professional tennis player who once played a final at Wimbledon against Billie Jean King. His father, a philosophic commodities trader, reportedly turned $30,000 into $80 million in under two decades.

They divorced early in his life—ushering in stepparents and many perspectives on love, power, and purpose.

✧ The Wound Beneath the Mission

In that same interview, he speaks of wanting to live a big life… a life of collective mission and service.

But underneath, I felt the vibration of not-enoughness—the kind that lights a fire early. The kind that fuels performance before the foundation is fully laid.

I don’t say this from projection. I say it because I’ve lived this pattern.

I recognize some of these same themes in my own story—including the wounds in the paternal line.

A distortion of masculine energy where:

  • performance becomes safety,

  • anger masks anxiety, and

  • achievement and competition become the pathway to love.

This pattern lives in many of us—especially in lineages shaped by survival, immigration, and the pursuit of the “American Dream.”

✧ My Personal Reflection

In my own chart, my Moon sits at 1° Libra in the 3rd house—communication, technology, and social expression.

It echoes the Chiron-in-Gemini wound:

  • fear of judgment,

  • not belonging,

  • not being seen as intelligent or trustworthy.

Especially when it comes to speaking our truth.

And to be clear—we’re meant to move through these wounds. They are catalysts for awakening.

But before that, we chase experiences. We abandon ourselves in service of the mission.

✧ Momentum vs. Heart

So back to Aubrey—someone with a public platform, a spiritual business, and a declared calling to serve.

I sense that in the pursuit of that legacy, the heart may have been bypassed in favor of momentum.

Not because he isn’t aware—but because the wound still whispers:
“You have to earn this.”

And in that space, spiritual ego becomes the guardian of unprocessed pain. Efficiency replaces integration. Sacrifice replaces softness. Mission replaces self.

And the mentor—or the partner, or even the multiplicity of partners—becomes:

  • the surrogate father,

  • the stand-in for earned approval,

  • the illusion of arrival.

✧ Building from Shadow

When we begin to use service, medicine, or identity to prove our worth—we risk building legacy from shadow.

And eventually… rupture comes. Not to shame us—but to bring us home.

Because a soul mission without the heart will never lead to the legacy we’re truly here to anchor.

If distortion remains, the cracks in the foundation deepen. And even the vision—even the relationship—can become altered.

What could have liberated others may instead loop back into performance.

The tragic—what many call the fall or descent—is not failure. It is a return.

But how long we stay there depends on our willingness to stop spinning in the myth— and come back to the body. To truly receive love. To receive God. To the soul’s frequency. To the truth that doesn’t need to be seen to be real.

✧ Pluto in Aquarius: The Call to Coherence

And as Pluto moves through Aquarius—let’s be clear:
Anything not aligned with coherence, love, and authenticity will fall. Not as punishment—but as purification.

This isn’t about any one person. It’s about how all of us show up for power, purpose, and the path ahead.

Each of us is walking out a return— to ourselves, to our authenticity, and to the heart.

This is not just exposure. It’s an invitation. To look within. To face the things you didn’t see. To gain clarity.

Because real evolution starts with honesty. And healing, always, begins at home.

And what is good for the community and the tribe is being revealed—and revolutionized.

✧ Start Here: Reflect. Realign. Reclaim.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What parts of my story have I outgrown, but keep retelling to feel safe or seen?

  2. Where am I still performing instead of simply being?

  3. Have I ever outsourced my truth to someone I admired? What did that cost me?

  4. What physical sensations arise when something feels off—but I stay anyway?

  5. What does “walking in integrity” look like in my life right now?

  6. Where do I need to return to my heart before continuing the mission?

  7. What am I ready to reclaim as mine—even if it’s messy, misunderstood, or still unfolding?
