The Evolution of My Intuition

From Reading Charts to Learning to Trusting Myself and My Channel

There comes a point on the spiritual path when you begin to realize just how much time you've spent looking outside yourself for answers. Another reading, another course, another teacher, another modality. Each one offers something valuable, another perspective, another piece of the puzzle. But eventually, you begin to wonder how much more you really need to learn before you trust what you already know.

I've spent years studying astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys, along with psychology, art therapy, energy work, and the relationship between our bodies and consciousness. Each has played an important role in helping me understand myself, the people I work with, and the patterns that shape our lives.

When I first began exploring charts, I was fascinated by how much information they contained. The planetary placements, houses, aspects, gates, lines, and sequences all offered different ways of understanding our experiences. But what fascinated me even more was how often the same themes appeared across different systems.

I began noticing the patterns, and something interesting started happening. As a person spoke, I could feel and recognize the chart placements that reflected what they were expressing. A theme revealed through astrology would appear again in Human Design, then take on another dimension through the Gene Keys. Sometimes the language was different, but the underlying pattern was remarkably similar.

This became the foundation of what I call Soul Mapping. Rather than reading each chart independently, I began exploring how they worked together, revealing the gifts, challenges, and recurring themes woven throughout someone's life path.

And somewhere along the way, something else began happening. I started trusting what I was sensing as much as what I was studying.

When Knowledge Becomes Knowing

For a long time, I thought developing intuition meant learning how to access something beyond my ordinary awareness. I studied the different intuitive senses, paid attention to synchronicities, and explored how information came through during meditation, creative work, and sessions with clients.

But intuition wasn't always arriving as some extraordinary spiritual experience. Sometimes it was an immediate knowing, a physical sensation, a sudden connection between seemingly unrelated ideas, or a feeling that something deserved a closer look.

As someone with 1/3 profile and Splenic Authority in Human Design, I've come to understand how naturally this instant knowing operates in my life. And with Gene Key 57 appearing prominently in my own profile, the relationship between unease, intuition, and clarity has become an ongoing contemplation.

Gene Key 57 moves from the Shadow of Unease through the Gift of Intuition to the Siddhi of Clarity. What I find fascinating about this progression is how practical it becomes when we begin observing ourselves.

How often do we sense something before we can explain it? How often do we dismiss that feeling because we can't immediately justify it? And how often do we look back and realize we knew something long before our minds caught up?

I've experienced this in relationships, work, travel, creative decisions, and even the seemingly insignificant moments of everyday life. The more I paid attention, the more I began recognizing the difference between the unease that comes from fear and the quieter knowing that invites me to pay attention.

And perhaps more importantly, I began understanding that trusting intuition is something we develop through experience.

When the Charts Became a Conversation

As my understanding of astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys deepened, my approach to reading charts began evolving. I became less interested in interpreting every individual placement and more curious about the relationships between them. What themes kept appearing? Where were the gifts and challenges connected? How did someone's experiences reflect what I was seeing?

The charts became a starting point for exploration, and my intuition became part of the conversation.

My background in Transpersonal psychology and art therapy also shaped how I approached this work. I had spent years listening to people's stories, recognizing patterns, exploring emotions, and helping people make connections between their experiences and the ways they were navigating life.

I began bringing those different perspectives together.

Sometimes a particular theme would stand out before I understood why. Other times, several placements would seem to illuminate the same experience from different angles. Honestly the shapes the transits made on the wheel would intuitively pop out and tell me what planets or aspects to speak to. I learned to pay attention to those connections while remaining curious about how they might resonate with the person receiving the reading.

This is what I love about Soul Mapping. It's an opportunity to explore the patterns already present in someone's life and offer language that may help them recognize something they haven't been able to articulate. Or to finally accept something they've spent years trying to fix, only to discover that what they once saw as a flaw has the potential to become a superpower through healing and the transmutation of that energy.

The charts provide a framework. Intuition brings another dimension. And the person's own lived experience is essential to understanding what it all means and, honestly, why certain experiences have been part of their journey. For example, I believe trauma can sometimes be connected to a fragmented part of the soul that is calling to be recovered through soul retrieval, or to a spectrum of energy the soul came here to experience and understand. Through healing and integration, those experiences may become part of the wisdom and compassion we bring to others we came here to support.

The Difference Between Seeking Validation and Trusting Yourself

One of the most interesting parts of my journey has been recognizing how often I looked for confirmation that I was doing the right thing. I wanted to know whether I was on the right path, whether my intuition was accurate, and whether the choices I was making were aligned with my purpose. And honestly, that reflects my 1/3 profile in Human Design: studying, investigating, and learning through experience.

The charts helped me recognize patterns that gave me greater confidence in myself. But eventually, I began noticing something. There were times when I just knew the answers, both for myself and to questions my clients were asking.

I began to question how often I was using information to deepen my understanding and how often I was using it to confirm what I was already sensing. I had to begin trusting myself.

This has become especially meaningful as I've continued integrating my own experiences. There have been moments when I've followed an intuitive pull without knowing where it would lead, only to recognize the significance much later.

Moving to Costa Rica was one of those experiences. More recently, following the pull toward Oregon has invited me to explore that trust in another way. I didn't have every answer before making those decisions, and understanding my charts didn't remove the uncertainty. What changed was my willingness to listen to myself and participate in the unfolding of my own life.

Learning to Trust My Own Channel

As my intuitive work expanded, I began recognizing that my channel wasn't something I needed to work hard to open. It was something I was learning to recognize, trust, and work with. There was a divine timing to it all.

Sometimes information arrives through an immediate knowing. Sometimes through imagery, sensations, or connections that emerge during a conversation. Sometimes clarity comes later, while I'm walking in nature, creating art, listening to music lyrics, or simply going about my day.

I've also learned that intuition doesn't require me to have an answer for everything. There is value in curiosity, discernment, and allowing something to remain unknown. And this has changed how I think about supporting other people.

I'm not interested in being another person someone looks to for answers outside themselves. I want to support people in recognizing their own gifts, understand their own patterns, and develop greater confidence in their ability to make choices that feel aligned. To support people rising into their own sovereignty.

My Transmission Readings and Live 1:1 sessions have grown from this understanding. They bring together the systems I've studied, my experience working with people, and the intuitive insights that emerge through the process. But the intention is always to help someone recognize more of what is already available within themselves. I deeply desire to dive deeper with those who are awake and exploring these very things, creating space for meaningful conversations, deeper understanding, and the integration of what they're discovering about themselves.

The Evolution Continues

Lately, I've been contemplating how much of spiritual development is actually about integration.

We can spend years studying consciousness, exploring healing modalities, reading books, attending retreats, and learning from teachers. All of those experiences can expand our awareness. But eventually, we have to live what we've learned. And that is what Everyday Illumination truly is about.

Learning to make aligned decisions. Navigate relationships. Witnessing our patterns as they're happening. Listen to our bodies. Respond differently when old fears arise. Trust ourselves enough to take the next step without knowing exactly how everything will unfold.

For me, this is where the Gene Keys become especially meaningful. They offer a way to contemplate the patterns we're experiencing in our relationships, work, money, choices, bodies, and everyday lives.

Gene Key 57 reminds me that intuition isn't reserved for extraordinary spiritual experiences. It can be present in the smallest moments of awareness, inviting us to recognize what we're sensing and how we're responding.

And as I continue exploring my own relationship with intuition, I'm discovering that trusting my channel also means trusting the way my gifts naturally express themselves adn trusting without the tangible proof of a chart or blueprint. I don't have to explain every insight, convince everyone of its value, or fit my work into someone else's expectations.

I can continue learning, questioning, exploring, and allowing my understanding to evolve. The charts are still valuable to me. I love the depth, the patterns, and the ways these systems illuminate our experiences. But my relationship with them has changed.

I began reading charts because I wanted to understand myself and my purpose. Along the way, they helped me recognize my intuition, ethically work with clients, and develop trust in my own knowing.

And now, the most meaningful part of this work is helping others discover that same possibility within themselves. Because at some point, the question changes from "What does my chart say?" to "What do I know within myself, and am I willing to trust it?"
