I Ate Sh*t on the Scorpio Full Moon

Ooo this Scorpio Full Moon was crafty. I am willing to be humbled, thank God.

My astrology chart reveals a powerful dynamic between my public identity and my private, ancestral foundations. I could probably be described as someone who holds a bear or lion-like exterior while quietly managing intense, transformative forces underneath the surface.

Lately I’ve been sitting deeply with how I want to share my life post-clinical therapy. Not from the polished lens of “teacher” or “expert,” but from a more honest and intimate place. Less curation. More presence. More human.

And honestly… this moon made sure I got the message.

So here we go.

The night before the Scorpio Full Moon, I sat with Melipona, medicinal stingless bee honey traditionally used for healing the eyes. Before that, I had also been sitting with hapé on my own personal journey, a sacred ceremonial snuff used by Indigenous Central and South American tribes consisting of powdered tobacco, bark, and medicinal herbs.

I asked for a perspective shift.

I asked to be shown what was still in the way of crossing this threshold more fully into myself, my purpose, and Oregon’s frequency.

And apparently the universe said:
perfect, let’s accelerate this.

Not even 24 hours later, I caught the very edge of an older pair of flip-flop on a curb and absolutely ate sh*t walking to my car.

Not graceful.
Not subtle.
A full body slam.

Honestly, thank God for the size of my chest because I genuinely think it saved my face.

I’m laughing while writing this because this isn’t actually the first time I’ve fallen during a major energetic shift. In July 2022, during my first month living in Costa Rica, I fell hard walking down a gravel road during an integration period after ceremony work where hapé had been served.

Apparently my awakening path occasionally includes awakening from the road.

But the lesson keeps deepening.

And this one feels like a crescendo.

Because when you become fully present with life, truly present, you start realizing that everything speaks. The body speaks. Nature speaks. Synchronicities speak. Your emotions speak. Your environment speaks.

I believe everything becomes metaphor when you start paying attention. I call this the art of noticing.

The more connected you become to yourself, the more relational reality starts feeling. Answers often aren’t always hidden. Sometimes we’re simply zooming around too fast, too disconnected, too overstimulated, or too overwhelmed to perceive clearly.

So when I fell, I sat with the symbolism instead of dismissing it.

Eyes → what am I finally willing to see?

Lymph and digestion → what am I holding versus clearing?

Impact → forced grounding, shaken not stirred, sudden presence, interruption of momentum.

And what surfaced almost immediately was this:

I still had insecurities around how I “should” show up.
Who I needed to be.
How spiritual work is supposed to look.
How visible I’m allowed to become while still being fully in the process of being myself.

That became undeniable.

Not through punishment.
Through precision.

Scorpio doesn’t tap politely. It excavates.
And with Scorpio sitting in my 4th House alongside Uranus and my North Node, this Full Moon hit my foundations hard.

Home. Identity. Emotional safety. Ancestral patterns. The structures underneath everything.

Looking back, the move to Oregon feels deeply tied to all of this.

The 4th House in astrology is known as the House of Home and Family. It governs your roots, emotional foundations, ancestry, inner world, and the spaces where healing begins. It’s what lives underneath the version of you the world sees.

Scorpio there? You don’t skim the surface of life.

You transform through it.

And Uranus in the 4th doesn’t exactly create gentle awakenings either. It disrupts what’s unstable so something more honest can emerge.

Then Taurus entered the conversation.

Because Taurus sits in my 10th House alongside Jupiter and my Midheaven, the highest point in the chart connected to visibility, contribution, and public identity. So what this Full Moon revealed wasn’t meant to stay private.

The deeper integration has been learning how to let myself be seen honestly without managing perception or asking for permission.

That’s the real threshold. Not becoming someone new.
Becoming more fully myself.

And honestly? Simplicity is what I’m calling in now.

Ease.
Peace.
Beauty.
Community.
Opportunities to simply be me.

The bee medicine feels deeply symbolic too.

Melipona.
Propolis Hapé.
Bees humming in the Blkack locust outside my window as I write this.

Gaia.

Some of the greatest teachers I’ve known.

Bees are masters of community, reciprocity, structure, and collective intelligence. And lately that thread has been moving strongly through my life. Less isolation. More connection. More village. More relational living.

This moon honestly feels like it’s carrying me across a threshold.

And somewhere between Oregon forests, Costa Rican memories, medicinal honey, nervous system rewiring, astrology, impact wounds, and truth rising through the body…

I’m finding myself deeply in love.

With the journey.
With the Earth.
And maybe most importantly, with myself.

So if this Scorpio Full Moon has been rearranging you too, look at where Scorpio and Taurus live in your chart. Notice what houses are activated. The Taurus New Moon in 2026 peaks on Saturday, May 16, at 4:01 p.m. EDT (or 1:02 p.m. PT). This "Super New Moon" brings grounding energy for setting intentions around stability, finances, and self-worth.

Reflection, Ask yourself:

Where am I still managing perception instead of standing in truth?

What is trying to become something I am not? What pattern is emerging for my growth?

And what would happen if I slowed down long enough to actually see?

Finding Your Way

If you feel ready to go deeper into understanding your own elemental blueprint, spiritual awakening journey, and bringing more presence, beauty, and intention into your life, you can book a reading or an immersion.

Soul Maps & Live Integration

I offer recorded readings alongside a comprehensive chart summary that I call a Soul Map. To ensure you have space to fully receive and absorb the work, we follow this with a live integration session. This gives you time to sit with what came through, work with your charts, and begin grounding the information more deeply into your everyday life before any in-person experiences. Order here.

In-Person Retreats & Costa Rica Immersion

If this kind of remembering calls to something inside you, I also host in-person private immersion experiences. Long weekends for solo travelers or duos rooted in nature, beauty, presence, and following what feels alive. Together, we co-create experiences designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and hear your own inner voice more clearly again.

This November, I’ll also be hosting a group immersion in the vibrant landscapes of Costa Rica. Jungle, ocean, movement, beauty, deep conversations, good food, nervous system exhale, and space to simply be human again. Join the Costa Rica Immersion here.

You can choose one, both, or neither. Your body already knows what is calling you deeper. If you want to explore the different ways we can work together, you can view all offerings here.

I look forward to connecting.
