In 2025, several planets will be in retrograde, offering opportunities for introspection and review across different areas of life, a sacred pause for realignment. Mercury is the one you’ll hear about most often, and for good reason: it retrogrades three times a year due to its close orbit to both the Sun and Earth. Venus, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus each move retrograde just once this year. Pluto’s retrograde will be the longest, spanning from May to October.
Here’s a breakdown of the key retrograde periods:
Mercury Retrograde: March 14 – April 6, July 17 – August 10, November 9 – November 29
Venus Retrograde: March 1 – April 12
Saturn Retrograde: July 13 – November 27
Neptune Retrograde: July 4 – October 22 in Aries, October 22 – December 10 in Pisces
