The Audit & Root Method
Clearing space for what actually matters
The Taurus New Moon isn’t asking you to do more. It’s asking you to get honest about what you’re already maintaining. Before you set new intentions, it helps to look at what’s currently holding your time, energy, and money. Not to judge it, but to actually see it. Because what you’ve been saying yes to is what your life is already being built around, whether it’s intentional or not.
Start with something simple. Look at your calendar and your bank statement. Where is your time going? Where is your money going? What feels steady and supportive, and what feels like pressure or obligation? You’ll start to notice patterns quickly. There are likely things you keep showing up for out of habit, things that feel good in the moment but don’t hold, and things that once made sense but no longer do.
This is where most people want to skip ahead. They want to set goals or call something new in. But Taurus slows that down. If your foundation isn’t clear, anything new has nowhere to land. This isn’t about restriction, it’s about clarity. It’s about understanding what is actually sustainable in your real life, not just what sounds good in theory.
Once you see what’s there, the question becomes straightforward. Can I actually sustain this? Not just for a week or when I feel motivated, but consistently. Taurus doesn’t chase intensity, it values stability. So instead of asking what you want next, ask what you can maintain without burning out or checking out. That shift alone changes everything.
In practice, this doesn’t have to be dramatic. It might look like saying no to something that looks good on paper but drains you, or choosing to keep something simple instead of overcomplicating it. It might mean spending money in a way that actually supports your life rather than your mood, or letting go of a pace that keeps you cycling through the same patterns. Small, honest adjustments create stability over time.
The Scorpio Full Moon likely brought a lot into awareness. What’s working, what isn’t, what’s real. The Taurus New Moon is where you decide what stays. Not from pressure, but from clarity. This isn’t about removing everything that doesn’t feel perfect. It’s about aligning your life with what you can actually stand on and continue with.
If you want to work with this in a simple way, take a few minutes and look at your last week. Look at how you spent your time and what you paid for. Ask yourself what felt steady, what felt draining, what you would choose again, and what you wouldn’t. Then adjust one thing. You don’t need to overhaul everything at once. Consistent, grounded shifts are what create lasting change.
You don’t need more ideas or more effort right now. You need alignment you can maintain. Growth that lasts isn’t built in a single moment. It’s supported in what you choose, again and again, in a way that actually works for you.
